Excellent price for Rowan yarn. As usual good quality. Slow delivery because of the postal strike but arrived in good time anyway.
I bought this wool to make the paint daubs blanket. It knits well but it's quite fine so I wouldn't recommend it for projects that will get some rough treatment. The colour selection is amazing sand I love the speckled tweedy effect. Its only 4 stars as
it's a little prickly next to my skin.
I bought this to go with other colours to make the Elder Throw that I saw the pattern for. It was a big project for me but I was looking forward to the challenge! The colours are very good, natural and earthy but the reason that I rated it with an average rating is the strength of the wool. I found d that it broke easily and after reading online of others who had knitted the throw that holes had been made by feet I decided to use the wool to knit a fairisle jumper. It is ok to knit with but does split a bit if you find that you have to take arow or a few stitches out. I'm sure that a lot of people love this wool but it us quite expensive and I think I will not buy again.
