Fjord DK is a beautiful new self patterning yarn from King Cole for the 2020 Autumn Winter Season. There are 10 shades suitable for both men and women and great pattern support, but as a standard DK weight yarn it will knit to most DK patterns.

Even for a novice knitter you can create a stunning garment or home accessory. This yarn can be used to crochet but will not achieve the same Fair Isle affect, although still ultimately beautiful.

    Knitted a jumper for my 18 month old great grandson in the Fresvik shade. The self patterning effect is amazing. The quality of the yarn is really good and knits up lovely. Highly recommended.

    Yarn knits up beautifully. I am making a tunic and prefer to match the patterns on the sleeves and front and back of the garment with the variegated yarn and it took sometime to find two balls of yarn that matched. But it was worth taking the time.

    This wool lives up to its name, it is very soft to knit with, the colours are good , I didn’t believe that it would do what it says just by knitting but I was very pleased to be proved wrong. Well made king cole

    This wool is gorgeous. It is so soft and knits up beautifully. The fair isle effect is so clever, you get a beautiful Nordic style pattern on your garment without trying! I have bought a good stash to see me through the winter months and I can highly recommend this wool to everyone.
